The objective is to improve the golf game from a preventive and pathophysiological standpoint, and to work with the "Golf and Health" team at the Kölner Golfclub to develop an individual, biomechanically optimized movement. The players will be coached directly on the field with extensive playing and training opportunities.

More than five years after the surgery, the patient is living an active and fulfilling life again. The debilitating nerve pain that once dominated everyday life is gone, mobility has been preserved, and long periods of sitting, traveling, hiking, and physical activity are once again possible. Follow-up imaging confirms that the ESP-LP artificial disc remains well positioned and that the adjacent disc is healthy.

I coped very well with the surgery. The intensive care in the days following was excellent. After three days, with the support of the physiotherapist, I was able to stand up with a walking frame and take my first steps. I was discharged home on the sixth day after the surgery.
